The TEAM facility was built to satisfy the firm’s needs for efficient receiving, storage and shipping of materials. Tarlton’s team of mechanics maintains the company’s fleet of vehicles and construction equipment in the facility.
The 29,000 sf building includes an employee lunchroom, showers and conference rooms. It was constructed of pre-cast concrete and steel, using the “tilt-up” method, which Tarlton first pioneered on projects in the early 1950s. This technique entails pre-casting the concrete wall panels on site and then tilting them into place using a crane.
