Ameren | Hutsonville Coal Reclaim Installation

PROJECT NOTES

Tarlton installed a new coal reclaim system to expedite delivery of coal to Ameren’s Hutsonville plant. The team constructed a new duct bank and concrete pylons to support the new conveyor system, which carries coal about 75 feet from the coal piles into the building. The coal yard draining piping also was relocated away from the new crusher tower and was upgraded to meet newer standards.

We also installed new control systems. The project duration was three months, which minimized operational interruptions.
