ST. LOUIS (Sept. 9, 2024) – Cliff Segler joined Tarlton Corp., St. Louis’ largest women-owned general contracting and construction management firm, as a safety engineer.
Segler is an industry veteran who brings more than 25 years of experience to Tarlton from his work at local, regional and national firms that span the construction, energy, industrial and utilities markets. He is a graduate of Midwest Technical Institute in Springfield, Illinois.
In addition to managing and implementing Tarlton’s safety guidelines and protocols in the field, he takes proactive measures to audit jobsites for compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Segler also conducts ongoing safety training and toolbox talks with employees.
“At Tarlton, our safety values are deeply ingrained in our company culture and serve as the pillars of our safety management system,” said Ryan Wehrle, Tarlton corporate safety director. “Because Cliff began his career in the field as a skilled welder following his completion at a leading welding and fabricating school, he excels at building trust and relationships with craft workers to deploy our critical safety initiatives and policies.”
Wehrle added that Segler also helps project teams navigate site-specific challenges to meet critical guidelines and safely execute work so every person working on the project goes home safely every day.
