Tarlton Promotes Ashley Claxton on HR Team


ST. LOUIS (January 30, 2025) – Tarlton, St. Louis’ largest women-owned general contracting, construction management and design-build firm, promoted Ashley Claxton to human resources generalist II.

Claxton, who joined the Tarlton human resources team in July 2021, participates in employee training and development and employee relations, as well as the recruitment and onboarding of new hires.  

“Ashley has an unwavering commitment to our team members and culture, coupled with a keen ability to navigate systems and tools that bring innovative solutions to Tarlton,” said Victoria Stanley, director of human resources. “She fosters welcoming and caring work environments, which are the guiding principles that Tarlton models from the AGC of America’s Culture of CARE to build more diverse and inclusive workplaces in our industry.”

Claxton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is a member of the St. Louis Chapter, National Association of Women in Construction and serves as the organization’s marketing chair. At Tarlton, she oversees committee structure, chairs the wellness committee and takes an active role in technology process improvement and social activities.
