PROJECT NOTES

Tarlton worked on phase 1 renovations and improvements to CIC@CET, the former Dorris Motor Car building at 20 S. Sarah St. occupied by the Center for Emerging Technologies.

Working with the Kwame Building Group, our team built out 7,500 sf of space on the first floor of the historic building, creating a new entry, co-working spaces and common areas for innovators. Similar to BioGenerator, also in the Cortex District, the facility allows multiple companies to share costs and equipment and to collaborate with one another.

The Cambridge Innovation Center manages the space, along with additional space renovated for CIC by Tarlton in @4240 (4240 Duncan Ave.), also in the Cortex District. CIC manages 1.2 million sf of innovative workspace, laboratories, and event space across North America, Europe and Asia.
