This design-build tenant improvement project was completed on levels 6 and 7 of the 20-story, occupied Robert A. Young Federal Building. Work in the 20,000 sf, 6th floor Office of Hearing Operations included 6 acoustically rated judge hearing rooms, 3 new restrooms, a DCR/IT room, break room, open waiting area with reception, private offices and conference rooms.

The 30,000 sf, 7th floor Social Security Administration space was transformed into 12 administrative law judge virtual hearing rooms, private offices, conference rooms, DCR/IT room, open office spaces and 2 break rooms.

The team completed abatement, demolition of the existing build-out, and construction of new space, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, sound masking, audiovisual systems in conference rooms, CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection security systems, fire sprinklers, and fire alarm systems.
