Tarlton built out existing shell space to create a BSL-3 lab including an anteroom and clean rooms, processing, tech and myco, pressure monitoring equipment, and dedicated exhaust from the 5th floor to the roof of the 11th floor.
Additional construction included:
– microbiology lab
– cross match/antibody lab
– hematology lab including Roche/Sysmex automated analyzer equipment
– blood bank with walk-in refrigeration system
– histology/cytology lab
– 23 grossing stations requiring a dedicated formalin tank
– integrated assay development
