Tarlton is the general contractor for a new UV disinfection facility between the existing sedimentation basins and an existing clear well. The team is intercepting and rerouting an existing 42” filtered water line to treat and disinfect microorganisms as part of a new EPA guideline for drinking water. The facility consists of a deep excavation on the slope of the existing sedimentation basin that requires a tangent wall earth retention system, auger cast piles, 3’ thick mat slab and walls, cmu block walls, precast roof planks, and associated electrical and mechanical systems. Tarlton is self-performing all earthwork, concrete, steel and precast roof panels on the project.
