PROJECT NOTES

Pfizer hired Tarlton to manage and implement a master plan for all site infrastructure and utilities after designating its Chesterfield campus as the Center of Excellence for Biologics. This significant and hazardous infrastructure project included upgrading utilities and integrating three diverse building plants, while sustaining campus operations for 1,800 research scientists.

Major project components included the installation of a campus chilled water system, a new emergency power distribution and control system, and a major renovation to the campus steam system loop. The project logged more than 70,000 manhours without a single recordable or lost-time injury. The team won a Best Practices Award from the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers.
