Tarlton removed and replaced 380 lf of an existing concrete ramp to the roof parking area of the U.S. Post Office in St. Louis. To ensure access to the roof, the project was completed in two phases. Phase one consisted of extensive shoring, demolition and replacement of one side of the ramp. Phase two began with switching traffic to the already repaired section, then temporary shoring, demolition and replacement of the remainder of the ramp.

In addition, the team repaired any structural damage to the existing concrete beams and associated reinforcement that was exposed during the demolition. Protective coatings were applied to the 12,000 sf structure after the new ramp was complete.
