Tarlton served as Construction Manager for the estimating, budgeting and construction services for the South 40 Utility Expansion at Washington University in St. Louis.

Project scope included an extensive replacement of the utility services serving six different residential life halls, including domestic water, fire water, hot water/chilled water and natural gas. Existing feeds to the buildings were removed and replaced. Work in mechanical rooms included new valves, piping, pumps and controls. The project also included electrical rough-in for future use and upgraded site lighting and landscaping.

Tarlton self-performed all concrete flatwork, as well as the sewer work and excavation for the utility contractors.
