Tarlton has completed numerous laboratory and office renovations for the Washington University School of Medicine, including the Molecular Oncology Renovation in the McDonnell Medical Sciences Building on the medical center campus, gutting 30,000 sf on Floor 5 and fitting out new laboratories, offices, microscope rooms, cold rooms and tissue culture rooms.

In a separate project on Floors 4 and 5, in just five months Tarlton renovated labs to provide more aesthetically pleasing and better outfitted space for the Anatomy and Neurobiology departments.

On Floor 11 at McMillan Hospital, we gutted existing laboratories and replaced them with Biosafety Level 2 and Biosafety Level 3 labs and a control room. The project involved a general tenant fit-out and major HVAC system upgrade, plus new casework, an eyewash system, new sterilizer and new fume hoods. Work was carried out in fully operational surroundings with minimal disruption.
