Moosylvania creative workspace photo by Alise O'Brien

    Moosylvania

In a year, Tarlton’s team transformed an 80-year old Baptist Church into a mecca for creativity. This promotions and marketing firm bought the church and adjoining school for their new offices. A total 30,000 sf houses three levels of open work space and conference areas. Tarlton built a new stairway to new work space in the third-level loft and installed new electrical, mechanical and sprinkler systems.

The lower level was fully renovated to house work space, a break area, full-size kitchen and new mechanical room. Because Moosylvania applied for state and federal historic tax credits, many of the original materials, such as the oak wood and stained-glass partitions, were salvaged and incorporated into the new space.
