Tarlton undertook a five-month process in 2009 to restore the three-level, sub-surface parking garage at the south end of the medical center campus to top condition. The 400,000 sf structure was originally built by Tarlton in the mid-1970s, providing parking for physicians, patients and visitors.
The garage began to require repairs as a result of its age and heavy use. Tarlton employed several procedures as part of the project, including partial- and full-depth concrete repairs, epoxy injection, post-tension tendon repairs and removal/replacement of the traffic membrane.
