We approach Pedal the Cause in 2018 with a renewed vigor, dedicating our entire campaign to Oliver Coulson, a Tarlton project manager, cancer survivor, lover of dogs and the St. Louis Blues, plus much more. Oliver is battling cancer again, so this one’s for him — our ride, our sponsorship of an aid station along the course, the spin challenges in our office, and all the fun we have between now and Sept. 30.
Our team motto, fittingly, is #OLlVERSTRONG. You can read about Oliver’s adventures in his cancer journal.
You can find our team on the Pedal the Cause website — we are Team Tarlton. We’re still forming our group of cyclists for the big ride, and our volunteers will be on the course supporting the riders at one of the water stations.
We’ll also be asking for help in the office and on our construction sites. Tarlton subcontractors and friends are invited to help boost contributions to PTC by purchasing #OliverStrong T-shirts provided by Tarlton. If you don’t hear about this on a the project you’re working on, feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tarlton has been a part of Pedal the Cause since its inception in St. Louis, and we’ve raised more than $42,000 going into this year’s campaign. We appreciate that every dollar raised goes directly to cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Together, we can make a difference and kick cancer.
Oliver, this ride’s for you!
