Tarlton has completed several expansions in the Center for Advanced Medicine, just north of Barnes-Jewish Hospital on the Washington University Medical Center campus.
We built out clinical shell space and finished an existing area on the Floor 7. The clinical space consists of a cancer center, infusion center and public area. We worked closely with BJC HealthCare’s infection control manager to establish procedures and implement plans protect air quality and minimize dust for high-risk patients.
Separately, we completed an orthopedic surgery expansion on Floor 12 to house the Center for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. The 6,000 sf build-out included exam rooms, imaging rooms with X-ray machines, teaching procedure rooms for staff training, physicians’ offices and a conference room featuring high-end finishes, as well as upgrades to the mechanical and electrical systems.
